Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It makes use of AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is a solid option for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While  view it now  is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. These robots come with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent option if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the top available however, it's also expensive.

The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tried that does very well at picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.

But if you want to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine there are many other options on the market, including a lot of eufy models that cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper however it comes with more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet floors, as well as mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app guides you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and enough space to allow it to move around, however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The main feature that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, however, is more affordable and much simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
